Temporary Care Assistant (Maternity Leave)
THIS POSITION IS TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE.
Care Assistant required for alternating weeks:
Week 1: Tuesday afternoon (1:00 pm till 6:00 pm), Wednesday afternoon (1:00 pm till 6:00 pm), Thursday morning (8:00 am till 1:30 pm) = 15 ½ hours.
Week 2: Sunday all day (8:00 am till 6:00 pm), Wednesday morning (8:00 am till 1:30 pm), Saturday afternoon (1:00 pm till 6:00 pm) = 20 ½ hours.
N.V.Q / Q.C.F in Health & Social Care preferable but not essential as full training and induction is provided. Training shifts and mandatory training courses must be completed shortly before and after start of employment.
Duties to include getting residents to and from bed, toileting, feeding, dressing residents, laundry etc.
£ 7.83 per hour for non-N.V.Q / Q.C.F and £ 8.83 per hour for N.V.Q / Q.C.F qualified staff. Overtime at time and a quarter. Successful applicant would be required to do overtime to help cover illness and holidays.
All staff are paid for doing training courses.
C.R.B / D.B.S check initially paid for by successful applicant but fully refunded after 13 weeks.
